A Slow Summer Weekend

A weekend that felt like slow breathing

Some weekends ask nothing of you. No agenda, no schedule — just open fields, a borrowed wicker basket, and hair clips in the most perfect shade of ruby.

We packed light. But the Emeline drawstring bag held what mattered most: the Belle Hair Clip and a set of GRWM Clips in Ruby Dots — a colour that somehow looks even better against green grass and old wood than it does anywhere else.

There's something about the countryside that makes you slow down without even trying. You feed the horses. You let your hair dry in the wind. You hold a wicker basket full of hair clips and think: yes, this is exactly right.

Some places just remind you to breathe.

The best weekends don't ask much of you. Just good company, open air — and something to hold your hair back.
